The Atropos: Heavy duty truck with appetite for clean fuel
The Beast
Designed by Peter Azzouni, the Atropos speaks of the future for long haul trucks. Driver comfort is carefully taken care of, so much that the seat can spread into a bed for a relaxing nap. The cylindrical cabin rotates to ensure plenty of space for the bed, and a comfortable driving environment as a seat. The beak looks bulky enough to house an armored vehicle but since this is a design concept, such exaggerations can be overlooked.
The Machine
Having done a great job on designing the futuristic truck, Peter Azzouni is right, when he says the vehicle will draw juice from alternative fuels and hybrid technology. Concepts for the future cannot have the luxury of using existing power-trains, the future demands technology that is extremely low on environment impact.

I have updated renderings that do not look as bulky. A model of my concept has been tested against an existing streamline body in a wind tunnel to achieve 20% reduced drag. I left a abundant amount of space under the hood for the engine/generator, but the overall size of the front could be reduced to further improve efficiency.
