Personal flight systems may be some time away, but as is the case with such technology, you can expect the military to get their hands on such systems first. While Yves Rossy “The Jetman” may have refused to let the military have his powered wings, other people and companies are unlikely to pass on such a potentially lucrative product. The German venture SPELCO (Special Parachute and Logistics Consortium) would be amongst those glad to create such systems.
