ZMP RoboCar G - Electric Three-Wheeler Computer-Controlled Robot Vehicle
We recently come across a Honda 3R-C electric three-wheeler to be debuted at Geneva, but there are no firm indications as to when one will be able ride it. Contrary to this, ZMP Inc, the Japanese robot building company has come up with a three wheeled concept, RoboCar G. And here, it is confirm that you will be able to ride this vehicle in or after November 2010.

The New Relationship Between People and Vehicles robot

Just stumbled upon this article on gizmodo about robot mobility suits being desinged by Toyota to assist the elderly and disabled with climbing stairs and getting around town. Seems like these were unveiled at a robot conference back in 2005. I like how the designs are sort of retro-futuristic, and somewhat whimsical. The walking chair, called the “i-foot” looks like a cross between the Q-bert videogame character, a 70’s egg chair, and the Honda walking robot. And the “i-unit” rolling vehicle looks like something out of Tron:
