Bionamic Concept Car by Güney Kol

The Bionamic concept car from designer Güney Kol is a futuristic concept that has a very unusual, and very likely, impractical source of energy. It has an Ion Intake to absorb ions from the atmosphere and convert them into energy. The idea sounds good, but it is just too fantastic; but then, we’re talking about a futuristic concept here. It doesn’t solely rely on this “Ion power” though, the car has a number of solar cells on its body to harvest energy from the sun.

Solar Powered Touch Down Concept Car by Guo Ke

Touch Down is a futuristic car concept which provides you a glimpse of what a green four-wheel drive may look like 20 years hence. Designed by Guo Ke, the concept recently won the Silver Award of Best Harmonious Beauty at the First “Science & Future” International Concept Car Design Contest. The completely zero emissions car runs on batteries charged by solar or wind power plants. Touch Down’s rear is equipped with a battery tank which contains a total of six high-capacity batteries that can be removed and recharged independently. Green credentials apart, this futuristic car which claims to take you on a ride at the speed of an aircraft has an eye-catching sleek design with a low body and electric motors in its tires allowing in-wheel drive.

eMX - Futuristic Car Concept by RSM Design (Renault Samsung Motors)

Renault Samsung Motors (RSM) has exposed their futuristic eMX car concept. eMX stands for eco Motoring eXperience, which is based on the platform of Renault Mégane and is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine along with some other solutions to improve the fuel efficiency. The main feature of the design includes detailed soft curves and graphics which is inspired by the nature and are intended at expressing an eco-friendly sense and cutting-edge technology. The organic and smooth curves of this concept car explores a new design technology that may adopt the company’s other small cars in future.

Frost - Electric Vehicle by Anders Gloslie

Anders Gloslie, a Norwegian designer who is studying at IED Tornio currently in Italy, developed the FROST concept electric car. The stylish exterior design of this extraordinary car was enthused by and developed to suit arctic climate conditions. The asymmetrical bodywork of this car was influenced by formations of ice and features plenty of ‘cracks’ which cover the lighting systems. This motivating natural inspiration source also denotes that the idea takes of various shapes seen from different angles. The FROST concept layout mixes the proportions and the 2-seat design of a racing car with the rough potential of an off-road vehicle.
