Concept 2 for 2 – Electric Vehicle For The Year 2050 by Thiago Vieira

In the years to come, technology will take us to a level that become difficult to predict or think about at present. Nevertheless, there are designers who every now and then come up with a vehicle that seems fit enough in the future scenario. Here is a vision from Brazilian designer, Thiago Vieira, who has envisioned a vehicle for 2050. He has named his vehicle 2 for 2 (also 2f2) which is a design study of a futuristic vehicle intended for 40 years from now. This vehicle is powered by 90hp electric motor and features aluminum body structure for urban use. The concept uses less energy to help prolong your ride and is equipped with various equipments that improve driver’s interaction with the other vehicles.

Car of Light by Jong Won Lee

Inspired by the effects of light on human senses and the shape of objects, vehicle designer Jong Won Lee has come up with a concept car called the “Car of Light.” The vehicle features a roof-mounted solar panel and a sun roof that allows for natural light during the day and artificial illumination after dark.

Fiat Details First Ever Crowdsourced Car, To Be Unveiled At Sao Paulo Automobile Fair (video)

After launching the project one year ago, now Fiat Brazil has released the details of its first ever crowdsourced car concept, Fiat Mio. It will be unveiled at the International Automobile Fair in Sao Paulo during October. The two-seater vehicle has been rendered at the Fiat Style Center and has big molded windscreen that wraps around the side of the vehicle.
The design, apart from the Fiat design team, has been crafted from the 11,000 ideas submitted by almost 17,000 members of the community. Fiat Mio falls under the Creative Commons License, allowing participants to own their contributions, but for the community to distribute, modify and share their ideas.
