Designed by Anthony Franze, a student designer from the University of South Australia, the “Autonomi” is a vehicle concept that offers an emission free as well as driverless commutation, for the multifunctional vehicle comes integrated with an autonomous system to move passengers safely to their destinations. Intended to pick up passengers from airports, the zero-emission vehicle provides a special identification card to allow entry to commuters. Generating power from four 120KW electric hub motors, fueled by onboard batteries that can be recharged at docking stations, the electric vehicle features flexible seats, capable of turning at 180 degrees, to move passengers in utmost comfort.

Industrial designer, Robin Long, with the intention to provide a vehicle that meets the future needs and is comfortable, clean and green at the same time, developed the EV 2020 that can provide the commuters and easy travel through congested cities, narrow paths and suburbs. In order to make this vehicle more user-friendly and to make the travel more relaxing, the vehicle has been made autonomous and is regulated by a bevy of sensors that deliver information into the vehicle’s intelligent processor to help vehicle travel unaided by the user. The aesthetics of this two seater vehicle came from the simple and the bold surfaces to create a design that adds to personality and character.

Conventional wisdom says sleeping while at the wheel is a surefire way to drive into the other life, but the saucer vehicle concept totally shuns the idea to let its driver sleep, in fact, it lets the driver sleep all cozy and comfortable on the bed! The futuristic autonomous vehicle has a soundproof interior to allow the driver to lie down, relax or just have a good nap.
