MG Midget Car Concept by Yin LU as their final thesis for the 2011 Master in Automotive design in Coventry University, the project has the original goal regarding reducing the shut lines. The actual concept reinterprets the iconic MG Midget in a modern-day fashion, adopting a mid-engine layout with a hybrid drivetrain and a lightweight construction with fiber-glass body panels. The structure was developed through the summer 2011 internship at SAIC Design and the final 3D development and challenging modeling were completed at Coventry.
