Maserati GT Garbin
The automotive industry is one of the world’s most important economic sectors. Having interest in designing the motor vehicles or specifically road vehicles that suits requirements of different individuals is not an easy task. The one with a degree in industrial and transportation design or with an art background can do it.
Recently, three students who achieved their Masters in Transportation and Automobile design from Politecnico di Milano in Italy have developed a design of how the Maserati GT Garbin of 2020 would look like. This design was made as a part of project thesis under the guidance of Fiat. It is a combination of Maserati Ghibli of 60s and 70s and Prive 2010 Collection by Armani.
Garbin refers to the westerly summer wind that occurs in Italy. The front end of the dynamic car is added by Maserati grille, together with a surface treatment reminiscent of the Citroen GT Concept. Both interior and exterior part of the car use blue-LED lights. The exterior part of the car includes doors that are unique, open in outward direction and slide forward.
The interior part of the car includes seats for four persons with a long piano-black center console breaks. It also includes other controls such as AC, navigation, entertainment system and so on. The interior part was developed by the surfaces that connect the door panels to the dashboard. The proposed group of components in a motor vehicle that generate power for Garbin includes 4.7 liter V8 engine similar to that of Maserati GranTurismo.
