Mangalicanga 2-Seater Velomobile By David Raffai
Mangalicanga was conceived as a response to future human transportation problems in the big cities. It is a 2-seater velomobile or human powered vehicle with aerodynamic narrower shell that makes it possible to have 2 vehicles in one lane side by side. Since it is powered by the driver, this vehicle is absolutely emission free transportation unit. For more futuristic image, Mangalicanga’s upper body has been designed with dark semi transparent material that is also used as the door.

Hills will be a problem. Just as with any special purpose vehicle or even a bicycle (when planning a route), this will be lovely to own IF care is taken to use for a proper purpose. Just imagine a city filled with these, instead of cars. Won’t happen now, but – I – would do it now. I’m not alone, so it could happen. If human powered vehicles were a priority, roads would be flatter.
Ok, I’, gonna be the Party-Killer here, but someone has to add some facts to this: Your Design will weigh about 25 to 40 Kilos, depending on how much high tec material you put into it (and thereby you will push the price) that means, with two grown ups, this thing will weigh about 180-200 Kilos, propelled only by the driver? No problem in the Flat, but wait till you get to a hill..
