Honda Chopper Concept By Peter Norris
The ardently imposing yet sumptuously refined electric chopper concept did seriously bamboozle our senses. Seeming like a glorious Batpod-esque offspring of Star Wars speeder bike and the Tron lightcycle, this in actuality is yet another wondrous conception from designer Peter Norris. Dubbed simply the Honda Chopper Concept, the subtly curvaceous demeanor of the chassis defined by an ultra-futuristic linear form, does speak of a myriad of influences starting from sci-fi literature of the 80’s to modern day bio-punk renditions seen in the Manga.
The streamlined, expansive form of the chopper exhibits a long front suspension with a feet forward pedal and seating position. But what really did tickle our green senses was the low emission side to this modernistic system. The motorcycle will be endowed with two sturdy yet small electric hub motors that accentuate the lowering of the center of gravity. This will in turn facilitate better control; of course along with improved efficiency.
So at the end of the day, if we were given a option for a stylishly ’sustainable’ romp around the city in this fantastically fabulous bike, there is every chance that we would gleefully accept it (with our bowing heads).
