Electric MotorPod Bike By Paul Wilding
Paul Wilding, a designer from New Zealand, has developed yet another masterpiece, Electric MotoPod concept vehicle. The MotoPod is all about thrill of speed, safety, and riding enjoyment. Beautifully designed with classic styling lines and incorporated with proven cutting-edge engineering systems, MotoPod has F1 developed carbon fiber drivers cockpit, air bags for greater safety, convertible style removable roof, gyroscopic stability control system to balance motor bike at standstill, a set of sophisticated tilt sensors and 10 gyroscopic motion sensors are monitored and inputted into an intelligent control system.
In case of failure, another control board will take over to stop bike from falling over. It is powered by a Lithium Ion battery and is coupled to a permanent magnetic motor which is instrumental in giving incredible acceleration to the bike. Featuring Porsche designed energy recovery system and six speed sequential gear box with reverse gear, bike has battery and motor fitted low in the carbon fiber monoque frame which plays duel role: increases maneuverability and lower the centre of gravity. Additionally, bikes hubless design reduces unsprung weight, and equates to fewer engineering constraints, better braking and steering.
