The flying bikes may have remained a fantasy so far, but Gonzalo Guerrero has given shape to it. Dubbed the Machine_Fly, the sleek and shiny motorcycle with silver handle and yellow buttons that jell perfectly with the black and red exterior will attract any bike nerd to ride it the moment he gets a glimpse of it. However, there are no wheels in the bike since it’s a flying one and the other things that you will see at the bottom is an exhaust pipe, similar to one we’ve in conventional bikes, that provides the forward thrust.
Designed by Sasank Gopinathan the SRV-P1 or Phase-1 Special Rescue Vehicle heralds a new genre of rescue vehicles for the year 2025. The vehicle aims to provide initial aid to residents of an earthquake-devastated area, until full-scale rescue operations commence.
Inspired by video games such as Wipeout, and Sci-Fi programs such as Star Wars, the Libellula (named after the Broad-bodied Chaser Dragon Fly) is a flying racing car for the future. It was designed as a showcase for my Product Design, 3D Modeling, and Rendering skills, as well as a potential concept for a video game.
In response to DARPA’s broad agency announcement asking for a flying car – a vertical takeoff and landing-capable vehicle that can deal with off road conditions as well as take to the skies, AVX Aircraft has come up with a proposal while releasing some mockups of a duel rotor and ducted fan driven aircraft. This four seater flying car concept, as per AVX Aircraft, will be capable to carry 1,040-lb at 80mph over the ground and 140mph on land.
