Audi Icekraft concept goes high speed on the ice

Audi Icekraft_ concept from designer Niklas Palm is a high-speed ice-craft powered by the wind but controlled by the body. The concept, in part looks something like a boat mainly due to the sails it has, but that’s what captures the wind to propel the concept. The driver in the aerodynamic vehicle lies down facing forward and can control and steer the vehicle using blades that go into the ice. To move in a particular direction, the driver pulls at the corresponding blades and creates a radius to allow for the turn. Lying so close to the snow in a high speed open vehicle, there’s a fair chance the driver will be frozen well before completing the race.
