Jet-Powered Rocket Man Loops Down At 200mph From A Hot Air Balloon (+VIDEO)
Yves Rossy, a Swiss pilot, inventor and aviation enthusiast, was the first person to fly a jet engine-powered wing strapped to his back, and now stretching his daredevil attitude further, the Rocket Man (as they call him) jumped off a hot air balloon in Switzerland to carry out two full loops at approximately 200mph with only a custom built jet wing attached to him. Rossy jumped off a hot air balloon 7800 feet in the air over Lake Geneva wearing a 121 lbs wing suit that relies on Rossy’s body movements for steering. Previously, Rossy has flown across the English Channel and the Swiss Alps with only the custom built jet pack, and are you guessing Rossy’s next adventure?
Green Voyager Yacht By Kingship
Chinese shipyard Kingship has begun construction on their new 44m superyacht – the Green Voyager. The yacht was presented at the Singapore Superyacht Conference and aims to introduce a completely new eco-friendly design fleet. The Green Voyager has been designed to break new environmental and efficiency barriers.
Ground To Orbit Airship By James Yarger
Applying modern materials and manufacturing methods to the antiquated 19th century technology of airships, designer James Yarger has developed an airship concept dubbed the “Ground to Orbit” (GTO) that makes use of lighter than air (LTA) gas for easy lift and better performance on stretched expeditions, while leaving about 80% less carbon footprint in comparison to any similar sized aircraft. Featuring a body finished in lightweight fabric/objects, the new airship doesn’t need a runway, which makes it a very practical means of delivery and pickup of cargo and passengers from remote locations around the world. Presenting an aerodynamic design to ensure better speed and performance, the GTO offers a safe and sustainable flight than any passenger jet.
Deep Flight Super Falcon – Flying Submarine By Graham Hawkes
Submersibles have been known until now as sinkers that have ballast systems which takes them right to the bottom of the waters. Flying under waters (literally) was a challenge for all of this kind and it is the Deep Flight Super Falcon which is succeeded in conquering the same, thanks to Graham Hawkes who has succeeded in achieving it after 20 years of persistence which saw four prototypes being developed in the process.
HaloIPT Wireless Charging System For All Types Of Electric Vehicles
A start-up business, HaloIPT, has recently launched what is being called the world’s first market-ready wireless charging system for electric cars. Making a grand debut in London, the charging system is the safest, most efficient and effective way to transfer power without wires. The Inductive Power Transfer system allows a car fitted with a simple integrated receiver pad to charge automatically when parked or driven on roads with HaloIPT’s special charging pads beneath their surface.
