Transforming Multifunctional Wheels concept: Innovative twist to rubber

It’s for sure that in the near future we will experience elegant, stunning and sparky cars on the roads. Wheels are an important part and this futuristic concept relies on the same with Transforming Multifunctional Wheels. This wheel is made of 24 spokes, which are made from special carbonfiber. Each spoke is constructed independently and can tilt 15 degrees back and forth, which adds safety to the ride. The multifunctional wheel makes your driving safer as it can minimize the impact of collision due to its special design and also assure a firm grip on the road. The concept has been designed by Su-Yang Park & Chang-Hoe Heo.

Cosmic Motors: Vehicle concepts for another galaxy

Daniel Simon has some great designs to his name, and his designs for “Cosmic Motors” are probably the best. Simon has designed cars for Volkswagen and Bugatti, and he has an entire collection of designs of futuristic vehicles sold in another galaxy by the fictional Cosmic Motors. And he has a book to go with it, one that details the founding of Cosmic Motors in 8966.
Giugiaro Concept: The world’s fastest hybrid

At the Geneva Motor Show, Giorgetto Giugiaro will unveil his new design, the world’s fastest hybrid. The new Giugiaro concept is built on last year’s Italdesign Quaranta, the new showcar will put hybrids on the (very) fast track. There’s only a teaser shot for the new Giugiaro concept, but the gas-electric hybrid is expected to top at 186mph, and will probably hold on to its predecessor’s 3.3-l V6 that produces 270hp. It is likely to be an all wheel drive with the zero to 60mph dash complete in about 4 seconds.
Foiljet MR1 Recreation Hydrofoils Vehicle Concept

Many of the auto concept designers are trying to create best of both worlds by being inspired and transforming one means of transport to another one thereby deriving exciting results. Like the new Foiljet MR1 which on the look of it seems to have been designed for sheer fun as it has taken the best of the features of motocross bike and jet ski along with two hydrofoils and a silent energy efficient electric motor all of which together create a mind blowing effect. The motor helps the bike to be raise out of water thereby giving maximum fun to the rider. A nice and cool concept for fun in the waters!

SixNine Performance Car concept draws inspiration from nature

Designer André Lyngra’s SixNine Performance car looks at the entire world of flora and fauna for inspiration, but the ultimate impressions are those of the leopard and the stingrays. The concept is built for performance and speed, as is clear from its shape and its stance. The curves and shape of the concept owe their existence to the stingray, but the speed draws clear parallels with the leopard. An imposing combination for the road!
